Bordflow ("we", "us", "our") is operated by JE Tech AB. We value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we collect, use and protect information when you use our services.

2. Information We Collect

For Restaurant Owners (Customers)

Contact information (name, email, phone)
Business information (restaurant name, address, registration number)
Payment information (handled by Stripe)
Usage data to improve the service: which pages and features are used in the app. Guest details are not included.

For Guests Making Bookings

Name and contact details for the booking
Booking history at respective restaurant
Any allergies or preferences (if provided)
If you tick the box for offers from the restaurant: your yes, the text you saw and when. It is kept on behalf of the restaurant, which is the sender. You can opt out at any time.

When You Write to Us Through the Site

What you enter in the form: name, email, venue and message
That you ticked the box about this policy
We only use these details to reply to you, and never pass them on

3. How We Use Information

To provide and improve our services
To send booking confirmations and reminders
To communicate about the service (support, updates)
For billing and payment processing

4. Information Sharing

We never sell your personal data. We only share information with:

Service providers: Stripe (payments), Resend (email), 46elks (SMS reminders to the guest's phone number), Supabase (database), Cloudflare (hosting), Sentry (error reports) and PostHog (usage statistics in the app, stored in the EU)
Restaurants: Guest information is shared with the restaurant the booking is for
Authorities: If required by law

5. Data Storage and Security

We store data on servers within the EU (Supabase) and use encryption to protect sensitive information. Booking data is retained as long as you have an active account, plus in accordance with accounting laws.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

You have the right to:

Request access to your personal data
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to certain processing
Request data portability

7. Cookies

We do not use cookies for advertising, and we never sell data on.

In the app we only store what is needed to keep you signed in. The usage statistics in the app store no cookies and only cover signed-in users, never guests making bookings. To understand where the app is hard to use, we also record how the screens are used. All text and all fields are masked in the recording, so nothing from a booking or about a guest is visible.

On bordflow.com we count visits without cookies, using PostHog (stored in the EU). We first ask whether we may remember you. If you say yes, a cookie is stored so we can see how you move around the site between visits, and if you later write to us or create an account, the visits are connected to you. We may then also record how the page is used. What you type in forms is never recorded. If you say no, or nothing at all, visits are counted without cookies and without any connection to you. You can change your choice at any time under Cookies at the bottom of the page.

If you arrive through a referral link, we store the referral code in your browser so that whoever referred you gets the credit if you create an account.

8. Policy Changes

We may update this policy as needed. Material changes will be notified via email or in the service.
